The Five Major Centers Opening Ceremony
The five major centers of our hospital, namely “Cerebrovascular”, “Cardiovascular Treatment”, “Chinese Medicine Outpatient Clinic”, “Medical Cosmetology” and “Child Assessment and Development”, jointly held an opening ceremony on December 20, 2022. It was presided over by the hospital’s president, Major General HONG, GONG-CHENG, which has taken the hospital’s medical capacity to a new level and further improved the accessibility and convenience of medical treatment.
￭ Cerebrovascular Center
Led by then-director Major General Hong, the team combines physicians from neurosurgery, neurology, and radiology to provide emergency assessment and treatment services for brain and spinal cord diseases. Recently, a “microcatheter arterial thrombectomy” was performed to remove thrombi from stroke patients, providing timely assistance to patients in the township.
￭ Cardiovascular Treatment Center
In response to the increasing complexity of cardiovascular diseases in today’s society, our hospital has integrated professional medical teams in cardiology and surgery with various software and hardware resources to provide high-quality and complete medical services. Also, we invested in the construction of a high-end cardiovascular surgery integration system (Philips Azurion 7B2012), in conjunction with the existing two-way flat-panel cardiac catheter machine (Philips Xper FD1010), which not only enhances the accuracy of cardiac catheterization, but also effectively opens up blocked blood vessels, giving patients golden time for diagnosis and treatment.
￭ Chinese Medicine Outpatient Clinic
The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses on the immediate intervention of TCM in emergency patients. It implements the “Traditional Chinese Medicine Assisted Medical Treatment Program” for patients with cerebrovascular diseases, cranial brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and respiratory distress who are hospitalized by Western medicine. It also promotes chronic kidney disease treatment programs to help care for the general outpatient public. After TCM specialization, the scope of treatment will tend to cover a variety of acute, severe and difficult diseases.
￭ Medical Cosmetology Center
It doesn’t only combine plastic surgery, anesthesiology, dermatology and medical cosmetology specialists, but also applies cross-disciplinary integration and professional division of labor. It covers all-round care such as pre-operative consultation, drug selection, post-operative care, and medical aesthetic education. We put medical aesthetic safety first, and introduced the new Neuro-MS/D transcranial magnetic stimulator (rTMS) to provide a new treatment option for patients with depression and insomnia, helping you become beautiful and confident from the inside out.
￭ Child Assessment and Development Center
Through inter-professional and cross-professional collaboration, we use assessment tools to identify underdeveloped areas in children’s development. Physicians, speech therapists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and other professionals provide treatment directions based on the results and find appropriate resources. Through professional advice from the medical team, we help parents decide on the correct and effective follow-up treatment plan to jointly assist children’s development.
