Welcome the NCKU Cardiovascular Team for Academic Exchange and Visit to Our Hybrid Operating Room

Recently, the Institute of Clinical Medicine, College of Medicine, National Cheng Kung University, led by Director Dr. Tsai, Meng-Da from the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery, visited our hospital along with a team of physicians, nurses and radiologic technologists. They toured our hybrid operating room and engaged in in-depth academic exchange. Our delegation was warmly received by Dr. Li, Chien-Ta, Vice Superintendent for Education, Dr. Lin, Ching-Wei from the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery, and Dr. Liang, Chun-Chieh, Director of Neurosurgery.

Our hybrid operating room is equipped with a biplane multi-axis angiography system, integrated with 3D image guidance, quantitative blood flow analysis, and precision navigation technologies. This advanced setup enables real-time integration of imaging and treatment, and is widely applied across cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and thoracic procedures, significantly enhancing surgical precision and success rates.

Through this exchange, both teams shared insights and experiences in image-guided techniques, minimally invasive surgery and one-stop treatment workflows. This collaboration not only fostered professional development but also laid a solid foundation for future medical partnerships, jointly advancing toward safer and more efficient healthcare services.
