Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital

In every corner of the hospital, one can always see figures who give selflessly and quietly—yes, they are our volunteers in red vests. From guiding patients in outpatient clinics to accompanying them in the wards, from administrative support to cultural and artistic care, you bring patience, smiles and action that make the hospital not only a place of treatment, but also a home filled with warmth and compassion.

On the morning of December 12, the hospital’s Political Warfare Director, Colonel Hsu, presided over the Fourth-Quarter Volunteer Work Discussion and Birthday Celebration. During the event, heartfelt appreciation was expressed to the volunteer team for consistently upholding the spirit of altruism in serving visitors and patients, helping the hospital earn its reputation for high-quality service. This honor is dedicated to each of you who contribute so quietly behind the scenes.

We also extend special congratulations to several volunteer partners who received the “2025 Taichung City Volunteer Service Awards and Taichung City Outstanding Public Health Volunteer Awards.” Thank you for your years of unwavering dedication—you are the hospital’s strongest pillar of support.
