Active Participation, Outstanding Results!

From November 20 to 23, Major General Shih, Yu-Long, Superintendent of our hospital, led a team to two major military medical events. Forty-one colleagues joined the Military Medical Academic Symposium and 25 supervisors attended the Taipei International Military Medicine Forum.

At the Symposium, our hospital showcased this year’s medical highlights and research achievements, presenting 107 posters, a notable increase from last year’s 78, including 8 competition posters, earning strong recognition.

Superintendent Shih also served as a session chair at the Forum and held in-depth discussions with U.S. scholars Dr. Riley Jones and Dr. Peter Akpunonu on “Disaster Preparedness in Dynamic Environments,” offering important insights for the development of military medicine.

He remarked that the hospital will continue to uphold professionalism, research, and innovation to safeguard the health of both service members and the public.
