To express gratitude to our volunteer partners for their long-term dedication, our hospital held the Volunteer Assembly for the second quarter of the 115th year, chaired by Deputy Director Colonel Guo Jiawen. At the beginning of the session, we invited Dr. Liu Minyue from the Department of Radiation Oncology to deliver a special lecture titled “Holistic Care for Cancer-Related Fatigue.” She shared common fatigue symptoms experienced by cancer patients and care concepts, helping everyone understand the importance of holistic care through physical, psychological, and social support perspectives. During the event, Deputy Director Guo remarked, “It is truly admirable that you continue to dedicate yourselves to hospital volunteer service even after retirement. Volunteers are not only an important face of the hospital but also a bridge for communication between medical staff and patients. Through warm care and assistance, you make the public feel thoughtful and touched. We also thank all volunteer partners for their long-term selfless dedication and encourage everyone to actively offer suggestions and feedback. Through your valuable opinions, we will continuously improve service quality and jointly create a better medical environment.” At the end of the event, sincere birthday wishes were specially extended to volunteers born between April and June. We thanked everyone for their ongoing contributions and companionship, wishing the birthday celebrants happiness, peace, and health.
