Q2 Volunteer Assembly and Workshop.
Date：2025-06-25On the morning of June, 19th, our hospital held the 2025 Second Quarter Volunteer Assembly and Workshop, hosted by Colonel Hsu, Jui-Hsien, Director of Political Warfare.
The event began with a captivating presentation by Volunteer Nurse Kung, Yi-Chun, covering the topics of “Emerging Medical Technologies” and “Understanding Health Promotion Services.” Volunteers gained key insights into current hot topics in health and medicine.
Key Highlights of the Session
Introduction to Emerging Medical Technologies – Overview of cell therapy and lab-developed testing, emphasizing legality and risk awareness.
Six Major Applications of Cell Therapy – Includes treatments for cancer, arthritis, skin defects, etc., all requiring physician evaluation.
Therapy Procedures and Risk Overview – Explained the process of cell collection, lab processing, reinfusion, and follow-up monitoring.
“Da-Jia Yi” Community Healthcare Program – Collaboration between clinics and hospitals to form local medical networks aimed at improving chronic disease management.
Smoke-Free Environments and Cessation Services – Promoted awareness on smoke-free spaces, the dangers of e-cigarettes, and anti-smoking initiatives.
Personal Health Management Tools – Encouraged the use of the Health Wallet app to help individuals track their health records.

During the event, Director Hsu expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the hospital to our warmest source of support—our volunteers. Working quietly in every corner of the hospital, they not only care deeply for patients but also embody the spirit of lifelong learning, inspiring all of us. He also extended birthday wishes to volunteers born between April and June.
