Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital

Today is May 5th, which marks World Hand Hygiene Day, as designated by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The theme for 2025 is “Gloves Offer Momentary Protection – Handwashing Ensures Lifelong Safety.”

Major General Shih, Yu-Long, Director of our hospital, led all department heads in participating in the event. Additionally, our Infection Control Office staff conducted public awareness campaigns in the outpatient area, promoting hand hygiene knowledge to the public. This initiative aims to protect both individuals and those around them, while also contributing to the broader goal of sustainable environmental protection.
