Navy Deputy Chief of Staff Visits Zhongqing Branch Hospital.

With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, Vice Admiral Wu, the Navy Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense, recently visited the Zhongqing Branch of the Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital to deliver festival greetings. The visit was personally received by Major General Shi Yulong, the hospital director, along with Colonel Yue Dezheng, the branch director. On behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, the Navy Deputy Chief of Staff presented a group bonus fund, extending early Mid-Autumn Festival regards and blessings to the medical staff steadfastly guarding their posts. He expressed gratitude for their long-term dedication to medical services and for protecting the health of military personnel and civilians.

The Navy Deputy Chief of Staff stated that medical staff bear the important responsibility of providing healthcare to both military and civilian populations. Their steadfast commitment to their duties and continuous provision of professional medical services are worthy of recognition and praise. Through this Mid-Autumn Festival encouragement, the Ministry of National Defense conveys its care for frontline personnel and boosts the morale of the hardworking medical team.

Director Shi also took this opportunity during the visit to the Zhongqing Branch to conduct an on-site inspection of branch operations. He toured the outdoor toxic chemical disaster area, the pharmacy’s dual-access medication cabinets, and the newly constructed dental clinic, gaining a firsthand understanding of the branch’s medical capacity, environmental facilities, and ongoing construction projects.

In addition to affirming the efforts and dedication of the branch staff, Director Shi encouraged them to continue upholding the patient-centered philosophy, improving medical quality and service efficiency, and strengthening collaboration between the main hospital and the branch to jointly enhance medical capacity.
