Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital

In order to understand the implementation of the turnkey project of our hospital’s “New Medical Building Project”, Legislator Ho,Hsin-Chun led Taichung City Taiping District Councillor Chang,Yu-Yen, Councillor Tsai,Yao-Chieh, 5 village chiefs and 11 neighborhood chiefs to visit the hospital on March 20.

It was accompanied by the hospital director, Major General Shih,Yu-Lung, the vice director of teaching, Li,Chieh-Ta, the political warfare director, Colonel, Hsu,Jui-Hsieh, the director of the medical department, Colonel Wang,Shou-Cheng and the director of the planning office, Colonel, Wu,Pi-Yu.

Commissioner Ho highly praised the hospital and the turnkey engineering team for their zero-risk safety and overall progress during the construction process, and praised the new medical building for fully considering the traffic flow between the hospital and the surrounding rooms, regional drainage, and construction methods during the overall planning and design. After the completion of the future project, the required data review for the use license application and the supply of water and electricity will be coordinated with the city government’s property management and other relevant units to fully assist in order to accelerate the early opening of the new medical building.

Director Shih of our hospital emphasized that the new medical building is scheduled to be moved and put into use smoothly this year. By then, it will adopt the concept of holistic medical care, combine green buildings, smart building architecture, improve the configuration of medical workspaces, drive high-end medical equipment, professional medical manpower and medical technology, and build a solid all-round medical system. It is expected to provide more advanced medical services, provide the life safety and health of the military and civilians, and become the preferred hospital for the military and civilians in the central region.
