Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital

As the Lunar New Year approaches, Lieutenant General Huang, Executive Vice Minister of the Navy, Ministry of National Defense, recently visited our hospital for an inspection. He was accompanied by Lieutenant General Tsai, Director General of the Medical Affairs Bureau and Colonel Chen, Director of the Medical Management Division. During the visit, the delegation listened to briefings on the hospital’s operations, provided guidance on key aspects of medical services, presented group Lunar New Year bonuses to both the main hospital and its branch hospitals. The visit also served as an early expression of festive greetings to medical staff who remain steadfast at their posts, thanking them for their long-standing dedication to safeguarding the health of both military personnel and civilians.

During the inspection, Lieutenant General Huang affirmed the hospital’s vital role in delivering medical services in central Taiwan and encouraged colleagues to continue enhancing medical quality and strengthening overall service efficiency, thereby demonstrating the core values of military hospitals in protecting local communities and fostering deep community engagement.

Our hospital will continue to uphold the principle of “patient-centered care,” strengthen its medical capacity, and enhance service quality to provide more comprehensive, timely and reassuring healthcare services for military personnel and civilians in central Taiwan.
