Date：2026-04-20Our hospital’s Dept. of Internal Medicine and Nursing Home were honored with awards “Gold” & “Merit” at the 21st Joint Conference on Healthcare Quality Improvement of ATHCA, bringing further recognition to our medical team.
The Nursing Home received the Gold Award for its project titled “Enhancing Oral Health Status of Nursing Home Residents.” By utilizing the Oral Health Assessment Tool (OHAT) to evaluate residents’ oral health, the team implemented targeted interventions aimed at improving overall oral health outcomes among residents.
The Dept. of Internal Medicine was awarded the Merit Award for its project “Increasing Hepatitis B and C Screening Rates among Patients in the Diabetes Shared Care Network.” Through interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous quality improvement, the project aims to facilitate early detection and treatment of liver diseases in diabetic patients, thereby improving health and quality of life.
