2026 Training for Tobacco and Betel Nut Control Counselors.
Date:2026-04-20Our hospital recently collaborated with the Medical Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of National Defense to conduct a training program for tobacco and betel nut control counselors. The event was presided over by Colonel Li, Chih-Wei, Deputy Director of the Health Protection Division.
This training aimed to cultivate seed instructors within each unit and to strengthen awareness of the health hazards of tobacco and betel nut, as well as counseling and cessation support skills. Through professional lectures and case-sharing sessions, participants enhanced their practical capabilities, promoting health initiatives within military camps. Together, we strive to safeguard the physical and mental well-being of service members and create a high-quality, tobacco-free and betel nut-free environment.
Let’s build a tobacco and betel nut-free military environment—starting with you and me.
