Division of Nephrology

The Division of Nephrology under the department of internal medicine is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney related diseases. We are also committed to protect the kidney health of people in Taiping and surrounding areas.

February 4th 2016, we organized the Chronic Kidney Disease Association, which aims to guide patients with chronic kidney disease on diet, medication, and life precautions to delay the deterioration of kidney disease. We were approved as a Kidney Health Promotion Agency on May 24th 2016.

Through this, we hope to cooperate with medical institutions, clinics and communities in Taiping in the early screening, early treatment and improvement the kidney health of people in Taiping.

The Hemodialysis Center in our division was established in 1969. Currently, there are 26 hemodialysis beds and an audio-visual system is installed on each dialysis bed to provide a high-quality and comfortable dialysis environment and improve patients’ willingness and quality of dialysis. In April 1991, the peritoneal dialysis room also was established and provide another choice of ways in renal replacement therapy.
